Community Game Night January 31
Community Game Night January 31
The annual cost to operate the television station is $30,000. The largest cost in any organization is payroll, but without employees, businesses and organizations can’t operate well. While volunteers are vital to many non-profits, you also need the stability an employee brings. KCC-TV’s employee records public meetings and events, directs programming, edits and produces videos and schedules programs on the channel. Our employee is critical to the success of Koochiching County Community broadcasting. Supporting KCC-TV through membership helps with funding from other sources. Grant funders are looking for community support, so the more members we gain and retain, the more successful we can be in seeking funds for things like equipment and technology upgrades
KCC-TV is a not-for-profit public media organization governed by Backus Community Center. KCC-TV was formed in 2012 to serve citizens of Koochiching County. Programming is broadcast on Midcontinent Cable Channel 7 and archived programs can be found on You Tube.
